Smart Homes Trading & Contracting Company (commercial registration no. 7009377388, VAT registration no. 310047896100003), headquartered in Jeddah, is the data controller for the personal data collected through this site and its associated communication channels. “The Site” means the smarthomes.sa domain, its subpages, and its English-language version.
This policy applies to the personal data we collect from you as a visitor to the site, a quotation or service requester, an existing customer, a job applicant, or a representative of a contracting or property-development firm we work with. It should be read alongside the Terms of Use published on the site, and any supply, installation or maintenance contract in place between us.
Data you give us directly:
Data collected automatically: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visited and how long you stayed, the source you arrived from, and cookie identifiers.
We never ask for bank card details, account numbers or national ID images through the site. If a message claiming to be from us asks for these, please report it through our official channels immediately. Some calls may be recorded for quality or record-keeping only, and only after you are told before the recording starts.
We do not use your data for a new purpose that conflicts with the one it was collected for, without notifying you and obtaining your consent where required.

Recruitment data is used only to assess your application, and is seen by the HR team and the relevant department manager. It is not shared with external parties except to verify information when needed and in line with applicable regulations.
The site and its services are directed at people who are at least eighteen years old. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and if we learn otherwise, we take appropriate steps to delete it. You must be at least eighteen years old and have the legal capacity to contract. If you are acting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
Content on the site — system descriptions, specifications, images and projects — is published for general information. Actual specifications may vary by model, supply date and project requirements, and nothing published is a binding technical undertaking unless it appears in a quotation or contract issued by the Company. Project photographs are published for illustrative purposes, and some may be indicative or supplied by manufacturers.
Warranty provided by the Company is governed by the supply and installation contract and the warranty certificate issued for the project, not by anything published on the site. The warranty may be voided in cases including tampering with, modifying or repairing the system through an unauthorised party, misuse, damage from a power interruption or fluctuation, structural work affecting the wiring, or any other case set out in the contract.
You may browse the site for personal or legitimate business purposes related to our services. You may not:

All intellectual property rights in the site — including the trade name, logo, design, text, images, video and the arrangement of content — are owned by or licensed to the Company. When you send us drawings, images or specifications, you confirm you have the right to send them, and grant the Company a non-exclusive licence to use them to assess your request, prepare a quotation, and carry out the work. We do not publish your project’s photos or name in our marketing materials without your consent.
Submitting a job application does not create any obligation to hire or interview you, and your data is handled under the Privacy Policy. Applicants are responsible for the accuracy of the information and documents they submit.
A link to an external site does not mean we endorse its content, and we are not responsible for anything arising from its use.
We aim to keep the site continuously available, but we do not guarantee it will be free of interruption or error, and we may modify or suspend any part of it for maintenance or development without prior notice.
The site and its content are provided as they are.
