1. Acceptance of these terms

By using this site or submitting a request through it, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Definitions

“The Company” or “we” means Smart Homes Trading & Contracting Company, commercial registration no. 7009377388, VAT registration no. 310047896100003. “The Site” means the smarthomes.sa domain, in both its Arabic and English versions. “The User” or “you” means anyone browsing the site or submitting a request through it. “The Systems” means the solutions the Company supplies and installs, including control systems, central vacuum, laundry and waste chutes, surveillance, networking, audio and EV charging, among others.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen years old and have the legal capacity to contract. If you are acting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

4. Nature of the published content

Content on the site — system descriptions, specifications, images and projects — is published for general information. Actual specifications may vary by model, supply date and project requirements, and nothing published is a binding technical undertaking unless it appears in a quotation or contract issued by the Company. Project photographs are published for illustrative purposes, and some may be indicative or supplied by manufacturers.

5. Quotation and service requests

  • Submitting a form through the site is a request to be contacted; it does not create a contract and does not oblige the Company to accept it.
  • Any estimated price shown on the site or in an initial message is not binding; the final price is set out in a formal, time-limited quotation issued by the Company.
  • Prices are subject to VAT under applicable regulations.
  • A contract is formed once a quotation or agreement is signed and the agreed deposit is paid.
  • Supply and installation dates are estimates and may be affected by site readiness, other contractors’ work, and supply chains.
  • Unless the contract states otherwise, the customer is responsible for preparing the routing, conduits and electrical supply required before installation.

6. Warranty and maintenance

Warranty provided by the Company is governed by the supply and installation contract and the warranty certificate issued for the project, not by anything published on the site. The warranty may be voided in cases including tampering with, modifying or repairing the system through an unauthorised party, misuse, damage from a power interruption or fluctuation, structural work affecting the wiring, or any other case set out in the contract.

7. Permitted and prohibited use

You may browse the site for personal or legitimate business purposes related to our services. You may not:

  • Copy or republish the site’s content, images or text for commercial purposes without written permission.
  • Attempt to breach the site, test its vulnerabilities, disrupt it, or bypass its security measures.
  • Use automated tools to scrape content or contact data.
  • Submit false information, impersonate someone else, or use the site for a purpose that breaches applicable law.
  • Use the trademark or logo in a way that implies an unauthorised partnership or endorsement.

We reserve the right to block access for any user who breaches the above, while reserving our legal rights.

8. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the site — including the trade name, logo, design, text, images, video and the arrangement of content — are owned by or licensed to the Company. Manufacturer trademarks shown on the site belong to their respective owners and are displayed to indicate the systems we represent or supply.

9. Content you send us

When you send us drawings, images or specifications, you confirm you have the right to send them, and grant the Company a non-exclusive licence to use them to assess your request, prepare a quotation, and carry out the work. We do not publish your project’s photos or name in our marketing materials without your consent.

10. Job applications

Submitting a job application does not create any obligation to hire or interview you, and your data is handled under the Privacy Policy. Applicants are responsible for the accuracy of the information and documents they submit.

11. Third-party links

A link to an external site does not mean we endorse its content, and we are not responsible for anything arising from its use.

12. Site availability

We aim to keep the site continuously available, but we do not guarantee it will be free of interruption or error, and we may modify or suspend any part of it for maintenance or development without prior notice.

13. Limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided as they are. The Company is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from relying on general information published on the site without referring to a formal quotation or technical consultation from the Company. This clause does not limit the Company’s liability arising from its signed contracts, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Privacy

The Privacy Policy published on the site forms an integral part of these terms.

15. Changes to these terms

The Company may amend these terms, and the amendment takes effect from the date it is published on this page; your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of it.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the competent courts of the Kingdom have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
